Brewery: Batch Volume Accuracy Improvements

We've made some under-the-hood improvements to how batch volumes are tracked in the Brewery module to prevent discrepancies between what's recorded and what's actually in your tanks.

Previously, the Remaining Volume on a batch was maintained as a running counter, updated by each operation (transfers, losses, packaging, etc.). In rare cases, certain sequences of operations could cause this counter to drift slightly out of sync with your actual tank volumes, leading to confusing numbers on the batch form.

The system now recalculates remaining volume directly from your tank totals after every operation, including:

  • Moving a batch to the next step (or back)

  • Transfers between tanks

  • Recording or editing a volume loss or gain

  • Packaging (including serving vessels)

  • Splitting or blending batches

  • Closing or spoiling a batch

We've also added a Fix Batch button to the Batch Values panel on the batch form. If you ever notice a batch with a remaining volume that doesn't look right, you can use this button to immediately recalculate it from your current tank data without needing to contact support.

These changes are live now. Most breweries won't notice anything different day to day, but your volume numbers will be more reliable across the board.
