We've added a new feature for breweries that need to track sales from before BarSight was implemented: Legacy Orders.
Ever had a customer call about a refund on a keg they bought last month before you started using the system? Previously, there was no clean way to handle this. Now you can record those historical sales and process returns just like any other order.
How It Works
- Go to Brewery ? Orders ? New Order ? New Legacy Order
- Enter the customer, original order date, and add the items they purchased
- When you close the order, BarSight automatically creates the inventory records
- You can now process refunds, returns, and deposit credits normally
Legacy orders are marked with an orange (Legacy) badge so you can easily identify them in your order list.
