Change Facility on an Order
The Problem
You just created an order but realized you selected the wrong facility. Maybe you were working on orders for multiple locations, or the facility picker defaulted to the wrong one. Now you're stuck with an order in the wrong place—do you have to delete it and start over?
The Solution
If the order has no items added yet, you can switch the facility with a single click. BarSight shows a Change Facility button in the Details box that lets you move the order to the correct location before you start adding products.
How to Use It
- Open the order from Brewery → Orders
- Look at the Details box on the right side
- Click the Change Facility button
- Select the correct facility from the dropdown
- Click Change Facility to confirm

Important
The Change Facility button only appears when:
- The order has no items added yet
- The order is not closed, shipped, or paid
Once you add items, the facility is locked because inventory is tied to specific locations.
Pro Tip
If you frequently work across multiple facilities, double-check the facility selector at the top of the Orders page before creating new orders. It remembers your last selection.
