Fix Inventory Fast with Create Manual Inventory
One powerful feature at a time.
Fix Inventory Fast with Create Manual Inventory
The Problem
Old pending orders with incorrect packaging assignments — wrong quantities, wrong package groups — can leave your inventory in a mess. Going into every order one by one to reallocate stock is tedious and time-consuming. When you need to get dozens of old orders back on track, you need a faster way.
The Solution
Create Manual Inventory automatically generates the inventory records needed to fulfill your selected orders in one shot. It only touches line items that are missing stock — anything already reserved is left exactly as-is. After running it, you can bulk-ship those orders and then fine-tune your actual inventory counts as needed.
How to Use It (Bulk)
- Go to Brewery → Orders and filter to Pending
- Click Load More to pull up your full order history
- Click the Select All checkbox to select every order
- Open the Bulk Actions menu and click Create Manual Inventory
- Type
create stockin the confirmation box and click Yes, Create Inventory
BarSight will process all selected orders and tell you how many line items were updated. Orders with stock already assigned are skipped automatically.

How to Use It (Single Order)
You can also run this on an individual order. Open the order, click the dropdown arrow beside the Ship Order button, and choose Create Manual Inventory. Same confirmation, same result — just for that one order.
What Happens Next
Once inventory is created, select all your orders and click Ship Orders to close them out in bulk. Then head to Package Products to review and adjust your actual stock levels as needed.
Pro Tip
This is an owner-only feature designed for one-time cleanup situations — not a regular workflow. Use it to get back on track, then adjust your inventory counts so everything reflects reality going forward.
