Bulk Return Customer Deposits in One Click
The Problem
A customer just returned 25 kegs at once. Your current process: open customer record, find deposit item #1, click return, save. Find deposit item #2, click return, save. Repeat 23 more times. It's taking you 15 minutes to process one return. Meanwhile, there are three more customers waiting with keg returns. Your line is backing up and everyone's frustrated.

Bulk Customer Returns let you process multiple deposit items in a single action. Select all 25 kegs, click return once, and you're done in 30 seconds. Perfect for busy return days, large wholesale customer pickups, and festival teardowns when dozens of kegs come back at once.
How to Use It
- Navigate to Brewery → Customers
- Open the customer record returning items
- Click the Deposits tab to see all outstanding deposits
- Click Bulk Return button
- Select the items being returned:
- Check boxes next to each keg, growler, or container
- Or use Select All if returning everything
- Enter Return Date (defaults to today)
- Add optional Notes (e.g., "Festival pickup", "Damaged keg #2")
- Click Process Returns

Pro Tip
Count the physical returns before processing the bulk return in BarSight. If a customer says they're returning 25 kegs but you only count 23, investigate the discrepancy before clicking that button. It's easier to catch shortages upfront than fix them later.
