Custom Booking Fields
The Problem
The standard booking form collects name, email, date, and guest count—but you need more. What type of event is it? Any dietary restrictions? Do they need AV equipment? You're stuck sending follow-up emails to ask basic questions.
The Solution
Add custom fields to your booking form to ask exactly what you need upfront. When customers submit a booking request through your website widget, they'll answer your specific questions before you even pick up the phone.
How to Add Custom Fields
- Navigate to Schedule → Events → Settings
- Click Booking Fields
- Click Add Field
- Choose the field type:
- Text - Short answers (dietary restrictions)
- Text Area - Long answers (special requests)
- Dropdown - Pick one option (event type: birthday, corporate, wedding)
- Number - Numeric values (kegs needed, courses)
- Date - Date picker (rain date, setup date)
- Enter the field label and configure options
- Click Save

Pro Tip
Keep it short. Three to five custom fields is ideal. Too many questions and customers abandon the form before submitting.
