BarSight's Display UOM lets you show inventory quantities in whatever unit your team prefers - without changing how stock is actually tracked. Your data stays accurate while your staff sees numbers that make sense to them.
How to Use It
- Navigate to Kitchen → Inventory
- Click on an inventory item to open it
- Find the Display Units (DU) dropdown
- Select your preferred display unit (must be convertible to the Default UOM)
- Click Save

Pro Tip
Display UOM can be changed anytime without affecting your actual stock levels. If your team's preferences change, just update it - no recounting needed!
