Repeating Events: Set It and Forget It

Repeating Events: Set It and Forget It

The Problem

You have a weekly staff meeting every Monday, a monthly inventory count, or a yearly anniversary event. Creating each one manually is tedious and easy to forget. There has to be a better way.

The Solution

BarSight's repeating events let you create one event and automatically generate all future occurrences. Set the pattern once, and every Monday meeting or monthly review appears on your calendar without lifting a finger.

How to Use It

  1. Navigate to Schedule → Events
  2. Click New Event
  3. Fill in your event title and choose the first date
  4. In the Repeat dropdown, select your pattern:
    • Daily - Every day
    • Weekly - Same day each week
    • Monthly - Same date each month
    • Yearly - Same date each year
  5. Enter the # of times to repeat (or 0 for ongoing)
  6. Click Save

Pro Tip

Need to change just one event in the series? No problem—you can edit individual occurrences without affecting the rest. BarSight keeps each event independent once created.
