Booking Areas: Organize Your Venues
The Problem
Your brewery has different spaces—the main taproom, a private room, the patio, maybe the full venue for big events. When customers submit booking requests, they just say "we want to book your space" without specifying where. You need them to pick a specific area.
The Solution
Set up Booking Areas in BarSight, and customers will see a dropdown on your booking widget to select exactly which space they want. You'll know immediately if someone wants the private room for 20 or the full venue for 200.
How to Set Up Booking Areas
- Navigate to Schedule → Events → Settings
- Click Booking Areas
- Click Add Area
- Enter the Area Name (e.g., "Private Room")
- Set the Capacity (maximum guests)
- Add a Description if helpful
- Click Save
- Repeat for each bookable space

Pro Tip
Use the display order to put your most popular spaces at the top of the dropdown. Drag and drop to rearrange them in the settings.
