Delete One Event vs Delete the Whole Series

Delete One Event vs Delete the Whole Series

The Problem

You created a repeating weekly event, but one week got cancelled. Do you have to delete the whole series and start over? Or worse—manually remove it from the series somehow?

The Solution

BarSight gives you two options when you're in a repeating event: delete just that single occurrence, or delete the entire series. One cancelled meeting doesn't have to wreck your whole calendar.

How to Delete a Single Event

  1. Open the specific event you want to remove
  2. Look for the Delete Single Event button in the toolbar
  3. Click it and confirm

The rest of the series stays intact. Only that one occurrence disappears.

How to Delete the Entire Series

  1. Open any event in the series
  2. Click the Delete Series button in the toolbar
  3. Confirm the deletion

All events in the series—past and future—will be removed.

Pro Tip

Need to change details for just one event (like moving a meeting to a different time)? Edit that single event normally—your changes won't affect the other events in the series.
