Convert Standard to Resale: When Your Recipe is Really Just One Item

The Problem

You created a Standard recipe for "Bottled Water" but realized it's just one inventory item with no prep involved. The recipe type feels wrong, and you're manually entering a target cost that should update automatically.

The Solution

Convert Standard recipes with a single ingredient to Resale items. Resale items automatically calculate target cost from the inventory item's purchase price - no manual updates needed when costs change.

How to Use It

1. Open the Standard recipe (must have exactly 1 ingredient)
2. In the toolbar, click Convert to Resale
3. Confirm the conversion in the popup
4. The recipe is now a Resale item with auto-calculated target cost

Pro Tip

You can convert back! If you later need to add more ingredients, click Convert to Standard and the recipe becomes editable again.
