Create a Commissary: Turn Your Location into a Central Kitchen

The Problem

You want one location to produce food for your other locations, but there's no obvious way to set this up. How do you designate a location as the commissary that receives and fulfills orders?

The Solution

With one click, transform any location into a commissary. This creates the necessary vendor and commissary records so other locations can order from you, and you can manage production and inventory deduction.

How to Use It

1. Navigate to Kitchen → Settings at the location you want to be the commissary
2. Find the Commissary section
3. Click the Create Commissary button (glowing button in the toolbar)
4. Confirm in the popup that appears
5. The page reloads with commissary settings now available

Pro Tip

Only owners can create commissaries. If you don't see the button, check with your account administrator.
