Morning/Afternoon Split: Organize Production into Two Windows
One powerful feature at a time.
Morning/Afternoon Split: Organize Production into Two Windows
The Problem
Your commissary runs two production cycles per day - morning prep and afternoon prep. But all orders just pile into one list with no distinction between what should be made when.
The Solution
Enable the Day Split feature to automatically sort orders into Morning and Afternoon based on when they're placed. Set a cutoff time, and orders before it go to morning production; after it, to afternoon.
How to Use It
- Navigate to Kitchen → Settings at your commissary location
- In the Commissary section, check Enable Day Split
- Set the Morning Order Cut-off Time (e.g., 7:00 AM)
- Click Save
- Orders now show "Morning" or "Afternoon" in the queue

Pro Tip
Set your cutoff time early enough to give your team time to prepare. If production starts at 8 AM, a 7 AM cutoff gives you an hour buffer.
