Undo Batch Split
One powerful feature at a time.
Undo Batch Split
The Problem
Sometimes things don't go as planned. You split a batch expecting to take it in a new direction, but circumstances change. Maybe the customer cancelled, or you realized the split wasn't needed after all. Previously, you'd have to contact support to reverse a batch split. Not anymore.
The Solution
The new Undo Batch Split option lets you reverse a split and return the volume to the parent batch - as long as you haven't started working with the split batch yet. It's quick, simple, and keeps your batch records clean.
How to Use It
- Open the child batch (the one that was created from the split)
- Click Batch Operations in the toolbar
- Select Undo Batch Split
- Confirm when prompted
- You'll be redirected to the parent batch with the volume restored
When Can You Undo a Split?
You can undo a batch split only if the child batch:
- Has no packages created
- Has no consumed ingredients
- Has no yeast harvested from it
If any of these have occurred, the system will let you know what needs to be addressed first.
Pro Tip
The "Undo Batch Split" option only appears on child batches - you won't see it on the parent batch or on batches that weren't created from a split. Look for the green branch icon next to split batches in your batch list.
