Copy Shifts Across Multiple Days in Minutes
One powerful feature at a time.
Copy Shifts Across Multiple Days in Minutes
The Problem
Setting up recurring shifts is time-consuming. Need to schedule the same Tuesday evening shift for the next 8 weeks? You'd copy it, paste it, repeat. Eight times. For a feature that should take seconds.
The Solution
Now when you copy a shift, you can tell BarSight to repeat it across multiple days automatically. Pick a pattern (Daily, Weekly, or Monthly), specify how many times, and see a preview of every date before you confirm. One click, all shifts created.
How to Use It
- On the schedule, click the shift you want to copy
- Click Copy
- The copy modal opens. Select a start date and your repeat pattern:
- Daily - Repeats every day (e.g., 10 times = next 10 consecutive days)
- Weekly - Repeats every 7 days (e.g., 5 times = same day, next 5 weeks)
- Monthly - Repeats every month (e.g., 3 times = same day, next 3 months)
- Enter the number of times to repeat (1-365)
- See the preview list of all dates below. Check it looks right
- Click Save and all shifts are created at once

Pro Tip
The preview updates live as you change the repeat pattern or count. You can see exactly which dates will get the shift before you save, so no surprises.
